Oogie Art Scholarship Program
Oogie Art is dedicated to empowering the next generation of creatives through two highly selective scholarship initiatives. These awards are designed to support outstanding young artists who demonstrate exceptional potential, academic achievement, and financial need.
Each year, these scholarships honor students who exhibit unwavering dedication to their artistic growth. Recipients are selected based on the strength of their portfolios, their academic excellence, and their active engagement within the art community.

(Need-Based)
Eligibility:
Current high school students in grades 11–12
Household of 4: annual income must be below $60,000
Minimum GPA of 3.6
Must submit a copy of the most recent transcript or an official letter from a guidance counselor verifying GPA
Application Deadline: January 1 of each year
Scholarship Awards:
Two prizes
(one awarded per grade: 11th and 12th grade)
Scholarship Benefits:
One full year of portfolio preparation (two times per week during Spring and Fall semesters)
8-week Summer Intensive Program
All of our classes are available both online and in person
Professional portfolio photography and documentation
Full college application mentorship and guidance
Certificate of Completion
Attendance Policy for Scholarship Recipients
To receive the Certificate of Completion, scholarship recipients must meet Oogie Art’s minimum attendance requirements:
No more than three absences are permitted during the scholarship program period.
Any missed classes (up to three) must be made up within the semester to remain in good standing.
Failure to meet this requirement will result in disqualification from the scholarship program and ineligibility to receive the Certificate of Completion.

Upload a personal essay (open theme, max 250 words)
Submit financial documentation (first two pages of IRS 1040 tax return)
Interview required for selected applicants

Scholarship
(Nomination-Based)
Eligibility:
Current high school students in grades 9–12 (before the start of the Summer Semester)
GPA of 3.8+ (unweighted) or 95/100+
Must be nominated by Oogie Art instructors
Nomination Criteria:
Consistent dedication inside and outside of class
Active engagement in creating work beyond assignments
Frequently seeking feedback
Recognized by external awards, competitions, or institutions
Students cannot request nomination; it is based on instructor evaluation
Application Deadline: April 1, 2026
Scholarship Award: One prize

All recipients must volunteer a minimum of 2 hours per week at Oogie Art (administrative or teaching support)
Must maintain good academic standing, attend all scheduled classes, and actively participate in Oogie Art programs
